Organised by the MSocSc(SDA) Programme, the workshop will introduce the application of data analysis in competition economics practice, competition and antitrust, and competition law enforcement in Hong Kong. Using real-world cases from Hong Kong and beyond, Dr. Hu will demonstrate how data analysis helps define markets, detect cartels, and assess anti-competitive behaviours. Participants will learn how Hong Kong Competition Commission and other competition authorities leverage data-driven insights to ensure fair markets.
