HKU Alumni Day 2026 was successfully held on March 14, 2026 (Saturday), marking a memorable occasion for the Faculty as we welcomed our alumni back to HKU campus. It was heart-warming to witness alumni reconnect with classmates, renew old friendships, and once again engage with the vibrant Faculty of Social Sciences (FOSS) community.
We were pleased to see our alumni visiting the Faculty Pop-up Booth and the FOSS Alumni Reunion Tea Reception. Many remarked on how meaningful it was to return to HKU, learn about the Faculty’s latest developments through games, reconnect with fellow alumni during reunion, and interact with our student representatives. The presence of alumni brought tremendous energy and warmth to the celebration.
This year’s activities were thoughtfully designed to appeal to alumni and their families alike. “Cuddle and Connect: An Animal Therapy Experience” stood out as a highlight for attendees of all ages, offering a distinctive opportunity to showcase the knowledge, expertise, and positive impact of our alumni in the field. In addition, “Psychology and You” featured the Faculty’s impactful research, providing valuable insights and inspiring thoughtful conversations among participants. These engaging activities captured the strength, excellence, and inclusive spirit of the FOSS community.
Thank you once again for joining us and making this occasion so special. We also appreciate the alumni who participated in the Run with HKU initiative. The ongoing enthusiasm and support from our alumni are greatly valued, and we look forward to welcoming alumni and their families at future Faculty and alumni events.
