World-class scholars at HKU will offer lectures and hands-on practical training on state-of-the-art theories and methods to collect/analyse quantitative data and to draw inference on social issues in accordance with students’ interest. The topic ranges from research design and hypothesis formulation to data management and statistical analysis. Students will also have an opportunity to learn from guest speakers who are changing the world via comparative and quantitative research in various fields. As the programme will be highly interactive, students will be able to improve their communication/presentation skills whilst broadening their network with scholars and other participants across the globe.
