Professor Ming WEN, Dean of Social Sciences at the University of Hong Kong, led a delegation from the Faculty of Social Sciences, accompanied by Professor Qiang ZHOU, Dean of Science and his delegation from the Faculty of Science and the HKU Admissions Office. The group visited Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from September 25 to September 29, where they engaged with local students and representatives from major high schools and international schools.
On September 28, the group successfully hosted an Open House event “Embrace the Future” in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The event successfully attracted over 140 local students, parents and school counselors interested in HKU. The Dean of Social Sciences and the Dean of Science, Professor Qiang ZHOU showcased the outstanding academic, teaching and research excellence of the University of Hong Kong, as well as its high-ranking international education status, to the participants.

Throughout their visit to Vietnam, the delegation met with representatives from various local universities, including the Vietnam National University in HCMC, business organizations, and the Chinese Embassy in Ho Chi Minh City. They jointly explored potential research and collaboration opportunities.
