Sociology PhD Candidate Honoured with HKU Graduate School’s Dissertation Year Fellowship
Congratulations to our PhD candidate, Mr. Xinqu Zhang from the Department of Sociology, on being awarded the prestigious Dissertation Year Fellowship!
The Dissertation Year Fellowship (DYF), administered by the HKU Graduate School, supports outstanding final-year full-time PhD students in enhancing their doctoral research through an additional year of training before graduation. Eligibility for this highly competitive fellowship is limited to students whose thesis is ranked within the top 10% by the Thesis Examining Committee.
