Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the establishment of the “HKU-XJTU Joined Research Hub on Population and Sustainable Development”

The HKU Research Hub of Population Studies, recently launched by the Faculty, to host a delegation from the School of Public Policy and Administration, Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU), on Tuesday. The insightful meeting fostered an exchange of ideas between our Research Hub leaders and the visiting delegation.

We are also excited to announce the formulation of an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the establishment of the “HKU-XJTU Joint Research Hub on Population and Sustainable Development”. This joint initiative will be directed and managed by the Faculty and the XJTU School of Public Policy and Administration, aiming to leverage the respective strengths of both universities to address societal needs and substantial development demands.

Aligned closely with the nation’s mid-to-long-term development strategies, the Joint Research Hub intends to create a globally influential research institution and intellectual powerhouse.

We eagerly anticipate continued collaboration with XJTU in academic pursuits!
