On June 6, 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences had a special evening as members of the Class of 1975 returned for a heartfelt reunion. It was a fantastic opportunity for alumni to reconnect, share stories, and celebrate their time at the faculty.
The day kicked off with a warm welcome from Professor Ming Wen, Dean of Social Sciences, who shared exciting updates about recent developments at the faculty—including new programmes, research initiatives, and future plans that everyone looks forward to. Professor Cecilia Chan joined the alumni in conversation, warmly sharing memories of their days together. Representatives from the Social Sciences Society (SSS) also participated, introducing current student activities that prompted alumni to reminisce about their shared experiences in Social Sciences. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with plenty of conversations and smiles all around. For everyone involved, the reunion stood as a day to cherish—highlighting the enduring bonds that sustain the faculty’s vibrant and interconnected community.
