Join us for a fascinating talk on “HKU Social Sciences Colloquium: Reducing Educational Inequality in Health by Increasing Children’s Education: A Two-Generation Upstream Approach” by Professor Liying Luo.
Recent research suggests that adult children’s education may influence their parents’ health at older age, but there are differing opinions on whether this would increase or decrease educational inequalities in health among parents. Professor Luo will explain a two-generation upstream framework and use multile mvel mire uionion. that educational disparities in five health conditions would be significantly reduced if younger generations obtained more education.
