The Internship Week, held from February 5 to 17, 2025, kicked off the application period for the Social Innovation and Global Citizenship (SIGC) summer internship, the graduation requirement designed to enrich students’ out-of-classroom learning and deepen their understanding of social issues as Socientists.
Under the theme “Work to Learn, Learn to Work,” the 10-day event provided students with opportunities to explore career development and prepare for real-world challenges. Recognising that many students were navigating the job application process for the first time, the Experiential Learning Team organised a series of workshops and events to guide them through the application process, including CV writing, interview skills, creating digital profile, career and personal development, and sharing sessions with experienced SIGC interns. Students also received personalised advice through individual consultations with the Experiential Learning Team and Peer Students. Representatives from Community Partners were present to introduce their organisations to our students, fostering valuable networking opportunities.
