The Master of Social Sciences (Counselling) [MSocSc(Counsel)] is a self-funded two-year part-time postgraduate programme for professionals in the human services, such as social workers, teachers, managers, medical personnel like doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other related professionals who are interested in counselling as a career.

Our students have very diverse and colourful backgrounds. Many of them are teachers; social workers; administrative personnel such as executive officers, human resource managers, corporate managers or trainers; church pastors; medical and health professionals such as doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational and speech therapists, psychologist assistants; volunteer counsellors, research assistants, legal practitioners; police and probation officers; personal coaches and trainers and others.
Student Voices
The learning journey has not been easy; yet, it has been very rewarding. Overall, it has broadened my perspective in terms of how I see myself and other people.
