The two workshops in April focused on cultivating our students\u2019 ability to craft and project their professional profiles.<\/p>\n<p>The first workshop, titled \u201c<em>Personal Branding on LinkedIn<\/em>,\u201d introduced students to build their professional digital presence by transforming their CVs. While LinkedIn was new to some of our students, they began to learn how to leverage the platform for professional networking. One student shared, \u201cI now understand how to enhance the visibility of my profile.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Workplace Etiquette and Communication<\/em>\u201d, the title of the second workshop, addressed the norms and implicit rules in the professional world. From meeting etiquette to face-to-face interactions, this workshop equipped students with the knowledge and techniques to confidently navigate workplace dynamics. One student summarised the key takeaway: \u201cBe proactive and attentive to how we position ourselves through daily behaviours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With the completion of the workshops in April, the Career Development Workshop Series for this semester has successfully concluded.
